This is a reflection of the life of the Cham people in Cambodia. The boat is their home. Both their daily life and livelihood depend on the boat. Every year, they always take the boat ashore to be repaired, disassembled, and repainted to make it new. For three to four days, they can only live in the boat. During the repair, they have to take the roof of the boat and put it on land to make it a temporary shelter. Some of their children are taken by their parents to be trained in schools.
